Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee. This week's question is: "Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?”
Hmm, well the easy answer to this is of course YA. However, that is really broad, so I am going to narrow it down to YA Paranormal Romance. I love magic, romance, love triangles, and time travel so the genre pretty much has everything I could want.
I recently found out that Paranormal Romance has its roots in Gothic literature. Now that I know this, it makes even more sense that this is my favorite genre because I love Gothic literature—especially Wuthering Heights.
I don't think there is a specific book that made it my favorite genre, but If you’re looking for a YA Paranormal Romance, some good ones are:

I'm really on a dystopian kick right now and so far of all the dystopian reads that I have read so far The Hunger Games trilogy and Divergent are my favorites. Blood Red Road is pretty good too. I'm reading that one right now.

Oho I love magic, romance and time travel, but love triangles? Not so much! Wuthering Heights, though, is a literary classic that remains on my list of "Books I Can Read And Re-read For The Rest Of My Life" :D
