Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s top ten list is: Top Ten Settings in Books. I originally wasn’t sure if I was going to make a list this week because I didn’t think I could think of 10 really good settings. However, after I navigated away from the webpage I realized I couldn’t stop thinking about Libba Bray’s Gemma Doyle series. Since I loved the setting in Bray’s novels so much, I decided to make a list this week. Here are my 10 favorite book settings:
1. The Realms form Libba Bray’s Gemma Doyle Series
2. Hogwarts from JK Rowling’s Harry Potter Series
3. Melanie Rawn’s made-up world in The Dragon Prince trilogy
4. England
5. Avalon from Aprilynne Pike’s Laurel Series
6. The High Court from Melissa Marr’s Wicked Lovely Series
7. New York
8. Tortall from Tamora Pierce’s Alanna Series
9. Gothic castles/old mansions
10. The Idaho resort from Richelle Mead’s Frostbite
Books featured in this video:
Rebel Angels by Libba Bray
