Regret is a short story that takes place at the same time as Possession. It is told from the perspective of one of the minor characters that we are very briefly introduced to in Possession.

Regret was not particularly exciting for me, but I think it is going to set the stage for another love triangle in Surrender. We get a glimpse into the Resistance and what life is like in the badlands. We also get a look into Jag’s relationship with a Indy, who he was pretty seriously involved with before his mission into the Thinkers territory.
