1. I read mythology books as a child (all the time)
2. I really do not like The Great Gatsby
3. I thought the first two Harry Potter novels were just ok
4. I have never read anything by Cassandra Clare
5. I still have not seen The Hunger Games movie
6. I sometimes stand in front of my bookshelf just so I can admire all my pretty books
7. I always judge a book by its cover
8. Even though I read The Hunger Games months ago, I still haven't read the rest of the series
9. I never use bookmarks
10. Even though I much rather own the physical book, I really do enjoy reading on the iPad

On number 8- you're really not missing much.
ReplyDeleteNumber 7. I feel ya. I do the same thing!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree re: 6 and 7!
ReplyDeleteAlso, thought I'd stop by and say hi because of the AC/DC thing. :)
I so enjoy looking at the books on our bookcases. We just moved and the first boxes we unpacked were the book boxes. Now I have to organize them so it's easier to stare at my favorites. I look at our bookcases and see so many friends just waiting to talk to me!
ReplyDeleteHopping by to say Hi! Hope you have a chance to read my Bookish Confessions!
What do you do instead of use bookmarks? I hope you don't dog-ear pages... poor books.
ReplyDeleteNo dog earring! EVER!!! Isn't that illegal?
DeleteI actually just remember where I left off.
Totally agree with number 6 and 7. Great Confessions! If you want to check mine its at http://bookswritingtea.wordpress.com/
ReplyDeleteLaura :) xx
I also read mythology books by the score as a child. As a result, I find references to various world mythologies in so many of the books I read. I love it!
ReplyDeleteYou need to jump on the Cassandra Clare bandwagon. By just reading these confessions I can tell you're not a band wagon type of person. Do you just not like to be doing what other's are? I can see that. But, CC has some fab books. I inhaled 3 in 24 hrs. So good.
ReplyDeleteStanding in front of my bookshelves to stare at my covers is sometime I do all the time :p
ReplyDeleteMy top 10 Tuesday.
You haven't seen The Hunger Games yet? But, why?! It's AMAZINGNESS.<3 I much prefer reading on the iPad than the Kindle, for some reason? I don't know, it's just far easier to use. And I also judge books by their covers, but not ALL the time. :P
ReplyDelete[You need to read City of Bones by Cassandra Clare! It's wonderful.]
I am totally guilty of the bookshelf thing. Back when I still had my mirrored closet doors I used to gaze into them before bed just taking in all of my reflected pretties. Used to be such a happy-making, calm way of ending the day. :]
