About To Read
For Those About to Read… started in February 2011 because I love to read and wanted to share my opinions with others. The title of the blog is inspired by the AC/DC song “For Those About To Rock (We Salute You). I thought it was fitting because I usually turned to book blogs when I was unsure whether or not I wanted to read a novel and wanted to see what other readers thought about it before devoting my time to it. There are so many great books out there that it can be a little overwhelming, and book blogs have helped me discover new titles that I did not know about and encouraged me to try books that I may have otherwise skipped. I hope For Those About to Read… will help other readers in the same way that other book blogs have helped me.
